The 2025 Party with a Purpose has taken place and tickets are no longer available. Thank you for helping the Mathews Rotary Club raise over $52,000 for the new YMCA Preschool. All donations were matched dollar for dollar by the White Family Fund. Read more about this project in our blog here.

Join us for live music on the East River in Mathews, Virginia. This event features  GOOD SHOT JUDY band, food trucks, beer and wine truck, and dancing at Williams Wharf Landing.

purpose

This year’s purpose is to support the new Mathews Family YMCA Preschool

• Located in Westville Baptist Church. previously certified for 50 preschool students. No current preschool in Mathews
•  Ages 2 – 4 yrs, open 7 am – 6 pm year round
  
• Will develop vital cognitive, social and emotional skills
  
• Enhanced early childhood educational experience
  
• Improved school readiness
  
• Access to a quality program already proven in Kilmarnock, Warsaw, Newport News, Williamsburg
  
• Support for working families
  
• In most cases, both parents or single parent work outside of Mathews with long commutes
