ADDITIONAL COMMENTS FOR FLAGS FOR HEROES

Comments:
JV White - Veteran of WWII: Born and raised in Mathews, Jeff White was drafted in 1945 and served in the US Army Air Force for three years. Following the war Jeff returned to his business, which under his leadership, became the leader in the credit reporting industry.   Always civic minded, Jeff with his wife Rosalyn, returned to Mathews and focused their retirement on pursuing philanthropic initiatives that would benefit, serve and promote the place where they were born and raised, Mathews, Virginia.  Sponsored by Tim & Mimi Ulsaker
The two flags for our Mothers are very special to us as both were strong Christians and were devoted to their husbands and children. We miss both of them greatly.

Thanks to Dr. Williams of the Three River Health District and all the dedicated doctors, nurses and volunteers who have enabled many of us to be vaccinated! Real Heroes!

Mike Rohde - Thank you for your service and in helping your country remain free.

My Grandmother Ruth Byslma for her sacrifice in leaving her home in NY state to come to MI to raise me when my mother passed away.  This was in 1970 and she was an influential businesswomen in her community and was still working as head of HR for a major department store at age 70 as she was born in 1900.  She left her family and sold her home to raise me when I was 12.
Mark Posvistak, Commander Fleet Hospital Operations and Training. Mark trained many of the service men and women during the ongoing fight against termism.
President Trump, for his strong policy of “US first” and supporting the people of Israel by moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem
The US Pharmaceutical Companies for developing, manufacturing, and distributing a COVID-19 vaccine so quickly.  The vaccine has changed our lives forever.  Through their hard work and dedication our country is able to live a life of greater freedom and good health.
